“Smallville” Star Tom Welling Arrested for DUI in California

Tom Welling, the 47-year-old actor best known for portraying Clark Kent in the television series “Smallville,” was arrested on January 26, 2025, in Yreka, California, on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI). The incident occurred shortly after midnight in an Arby’s parking lot, where Welling’s blood alcohol content was reportedly at or above the legal limit of 0.08%. He was taken into custody by the Yreka Police Department and later released from the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office around 7 a.m. An arraignment is scheduled for March 11.

This arrest came just after Welling celebrated his wife Jessica Rose Lee’s birthday, sharing a heartfelt message on Instagram. The couple married in 2019 and have two sons together. Welling has also appeared in projects like “Lucifer” and “Cheaper by the Dozen.”

As of now, Welling has not publicly commented on the arrest.
