Trina’s Husband, Swurv, Arrested for Battery in Miami

Benjamin Leon Kearse Jr., known as Swurv from Love & Hip Hop: Miami, was arrested on March 20 in Miami for battery, stemming from an incident that allegedly took place nearly two years ago. According to a police report obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Kearse was involved in a confrontation with a man in July 2023. The man claimed that while crossing the street, Kearse’s black Dodge Charger abruptly stopped in front of a stop sign, causing the man’s hand to hit the vehicle’s trunk.

The man told authorities that after the incident, Kearse called out to him, and when the man approached to explain, Kearse became enraged. The situation escalated as Kearse allegedly followed the man to a nearby residence and confronted him on foot, where he punched the man several times, fracturing his nose.

Police obtained surveillance footage supporting the man’s account of events. After questioning Kearse, authorities took him into custody and booked him at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

TMZ Hip Hop reached out to Trina for comment, but there has been no response as of yet.
