Venus Williams Blamed For Fatal Car Crash That Claimed The Life Of A 78-Year-Old Man

Venus Williams has been in the shadows as her sister Serena’s baby bump steals the spotlight. Well, Venus has made it back into the headlines but it’s for opposite reasons.

Word on the street is the champion tennis player is being blamed as the cause of a car crash that later claimed the life of a 78 year old.

According to reports, the driver of the other car, the victim’s wife, claims that Venus’ car darted out into an intersection in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, causing her car to T-bone the athlete’s northbound car back in June.

The crash sent the wife to the hospital alive but with broken bones. Unfortunately for her husband Jerome, he suffered head trauma which landed him in the ICU for 2 weeks before he eventually passed from his injuries.

Even though sources on Venus’ side claim that she had gotten caught in the intersection after traffic became backed up, authorities still maintain that Venus was the cause of the

accident because she “violated the right of way of [the other driver].”

As of now, there has been no evidence supporting that Venus was under the influence of any drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident.
