WEIGHT A MINUTE! Why Is Lori Harvey Being Dragged For The Same Diet Jessica Simpson Was Praised About?

Celebrities also fall victim to gaining weight. Whether it’s that “happy-relationship weight”, prepping for a role, or a product of mental health issues, the feeling that accompanies the changes in your body can be double the trouble to deal with when you’re a celebrity been scrutinized by the public. 

Remember when Rob Kardashian was cyber bullied, pressured by his family and taunted by fans and massive media outlets for being overweight? The harassment was so overwhelming that Kim K’s only brother decided seclusion was the only answer.

Well now Ms. Lori Harvey is on the chopping block! 

Lori is currently receiving major backlash because she shared the extremely strict regimen she used to lose 15lbs of ‘relationship weight’ she gained during her courtship with Michael ‘Bae’ Jordan.

In a video posted to Tik Tok, Lori explained that she has gained weight during the two years she’s been with Michael. ”When Mike and I got together I gained like 15 pounds of relationship weight and it was horrible. None of my clothes fit, it was not OK.” Lori explained she has been working drop the excess weight by doing Pilates five to six times a week, alongside cardio workouts and cutting down her calorie intake to a maximum of 1,200-calories a day. 

Healthcare professionals recommend adults aged 21 and over consume anywhere between 1,600 and 3,000 calories per day. However, Lori says this is what worked for her and she isn’t the first celebrity to promote this type of regimen… But she is the only one publicly beat down for it!!!

No one came for Jessica Simpson and she has promoted the same type of diet, multiple times. When she expanded in 2010, Jessica Simpson shared that she had “shocked” her body into weight loss. Then recently, in a 2022 Health Digest article, Simpson shared in a that she was working out and “consuming anywhere between 1,200 and 1,400 calories.”

It’s the double standards for me!
