Wendy Williams Passes Mental Capacity Test, Could Be Closer to Gaining Freedom

Wendy Williams may be a step closer to gaining more independence after undergoing a psychiatric evaluation on Monday. Sources confirm to TMZ that Wendy scored a perfect 10 out of 10 on a “capacity test,” which was designed to assess her mental clarity. The test, consisting of 10 questions to determine if she was alert and oriented, showed that Wendy answered every question correctly, confirming her mental capacity is fully intact.

The evaluation took place at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, where a psychiatrist spent time with Wendy. This result contrasts sharply with claims from her guardian, who has filed legal documents suggesting that Wendy’s condition is worsening, not improving. The guardian previously raised concerns about Wendy’s frontotemporal dementia diagnosis, a condition that Wendy herself disputes.

While Monday’s assessment did not specifically address the potential misdiagnosis, the results of the test will be forwarded to the judge overseeing her guardianship case. This development could significantly impact Wendy’s ongoing legal proceedings and her path to regaining more control over her life and affairs.
