Young Buck Back Behind Bars in Tennessee Over Missed Bond Meetings

G-Unit Rapper Sentenced to 30 Days in Jail Ahead of Bond Reconsideration Hearing
Young Buck is once again behind bars in his home state of Tennessee, returning to a familiar setting — the county jail — after failing to comply with the terms of his bond supervision.
According to online records, the G-Unit rapper was booked Monday afternoon into the Sumner County Jail, where he’ll be spending the next 30 days. The punishment stems from missed check-ins with his bond supervisor, a requirement tied to two active cases: one involving drug charges and another related to domestic violence.
Eric Mauldin, Assistant District Attorney for Sumner County, tells TMZ that Buck — whose real name is David Darnell Brown — was supposed to meet with his bond supervisor twice a month and remain on GPS monitoring. When he failed to do so, the D.A.’s office filed a motion for a hearing.
That hearing took place on April 7, during which a judge ordered Buck to serve 30 days in county jail for violating the terms of his release.
Once Buck completes the sentence, the court will hold another hearing to reconsider his bond status and determine whether any bond should be set moving forward.
This isn’t the first time Young Buck has had legal issues, but this latest development puts a spotlight back on the rapper’s ongoing struggles with the law. No further details on his upcoming court dates have been released at this time.
