Young Thug and Future Reunite on Explosive New Single “Money on Money”

Young Thug has officially returned to the spotlight with his latest single, “Money on Money,” featuring longtime collaborator Future. Released today, the track marks Thug’s first solo release in over 18 months and serves as the lead single for his upcoming album, UY Scuti, slated for release in May 2025.
Accompanying the single is a visually striking music video directed by Kaito and Brendan O’Connor. The video opens with a burning rug emblazoned with the Young Stoner Life logo and features the duo speeding through a shipping yard in a luxury car, symbolizing Thug’s fiery return to the music scene.
“Money on Money” showcases production from a powerhouse team including Southside, Wheezy, Beatzbyrrose, Dez Wright, and 9jay. The track is a testament to Thug’s resilience and creative vigor following his release from jail in late 2024, after pleading guilty to charges related to criminal street gang activity.
This release follows Thug and Future’s recent collaboration on Lil Baby’s track “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber,” signaling Thug’s reemergence in the music industry. Fans can anticipate his first post-incarceration concerts this summer, coinciding with the release of UY Scuti, an album named after one of the universe’s largest known stars—a fitting metaphor for Thug’s ambitious return.
