Draymond Green almost called it quits on the basketball court. Homeboy was thinking about retiring amid his indefinite suspension, but Adam Silver stepped in and had a heart-to-heart with him.

On his podcast, Draymond dropped it in the convo, saying he told Silver, “‘Adam, this is too much for me. It’s all becoming too much for me – and I’m going to retire.'” The struggle was real, y’all.

The 33-year-old baller was feeling defeated after the fallout from that hit on Jusuf Nurkic.

But Silver wasn’t having it. He talked some sense into Draymond, reminding him not to make a “rash decision” and bounce from the league. Draymond gave props to the commish, saying it showed that Silver’s more about what’s best for the players than just flexing his power to punish them.

Now, Draymond’s back in the game after his suspension and is expected to rock the court for the Warriors again. Dude sought counseling during his time away, and it looks like he’s in it for the long haul. 🏀✌️
