Ja Morant Season Is Done Due To Shoulder Injury
Ja Morant ain’t holding back on his feelings after getting the news that his 2023-24 season is a wrap.
Homie hit up social media with a simple “Damn dawg,” capturing the frustration of having his season cut short.
The Memphis Grizzlies dropped the bomb on Monday night, revealing that the superstar guard messed up his right shoulder during a training sesh on Saturday. To add insult to injury, an MRI spilled the beans about an underlying labral tear.
This ain’t the vibe Ja wanted for his revenge tour. Dude was on a mission to make up for lost time after catching a suspension earlier in the season. Y’all remember when he came back, right? Game-winning bucket against the Pelicans, letting everyone know he “kept receipts.”
Now, with the season-ending news, Ja, who missed the recent matchup with the Suns, is feeling the blues. He dropped a blue heart on socials and hit us with that “just waiting for the sun to come out…” mood later that night.
The 24-year-old baller was on fire this season, averaging 25 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 8 assists in just 9 appearances. Tough break, but you know Ja will be back stronger. 💪🏀
