Pharrell Debuts $1 Million Croc Handbag, PETA Calls LVMH Savage Murderers 🐊

Pharrell, in his latest move as Louis Vuitton’s creative director, dropped a $1 million crocodile-skin handbag that’s raising eyebrows in the fashion world. While some dub it high fashion, PETA ain’t having it, slamming it as a cruel display of animal abuse! 🐊💼

TMZ Hip Hop got hold of an open letter from PETA’s Senior VP, Lisa Lange, straight to Pharrell, saying, “Dear Pharrell, This is an invitation the likes of which you’ve never been offered before.” The letter throws in Pharrell-produced hits, but it’s no joke as Lange calls out the “Millionaire” Speedy bag for using crocodile skin, branding it as abuse, not beauty.

Lange accuses the VA icon of turning a blind eye to the crocs getting mutilated for their skin. PETA Asia’s investigation revealed gruesome practices at LVMH’s suppliers, depicting the horrifying treatment of live crocodiles and pythons for luxury goods production.

The letter challenges Pharrell to visit a crocodile factory farm where bags like the Millionaire Speedy are crafted, warning it won’t be a leisurely trip to the zoo. In Lange’s words, “There are no blurred lines here. Killing wildlife for a bag isn’t cool—it’s cold. Are you up for this trip?”

Pharrell, so far, has kept mum on the PETA backlash and other criticisms. 🚫👜
