Philly Pretzel Factory Brothers Craft Unique Thanksgiving Twist
This Thanksgiving, two brothers from Philadelphia are giving a playful twist to the traditional holiday bird, potentially sparing some of the less intelligent creatures from a rather fowl fate.
Brian and Shaun Kean, the creative minds behind the Philly Pretzel Factory, have introduced a soft pretzel version of the Thanksgiving turkey. Using a pound-and-a-half of dough, they meticulously replicate the bird, capturing its essence in fine detail. To date, they’ve crafted 80 cooked, bald, and “dead” pretzel turkeys, with orders pouring in right up to the big day.
The pretzel turkeys, hollowed out for practicality, are not just a tasty treat but also serve as a unique appetizer, often paired with a delightful dip. Additionally, they make for an eye-catching centerpiece, adding a touch of whimsy to Thanksgiving festivities. 🦃🥨
