Ray J Rushes Moms To Hospital After Bad IV Reaction
Ray J’s mom, Sonja Norwood, recently had a not-so-great experience with something that’s typically considered healthy – a home IV drip that turned into an emergency situation.
The situation unfolded when Sonja started feeling woozy after the IV treatment, which is usually used to deliver crucial vitamins and nutrients directly into the bloodstream. It’s a trendy health and wellness practice that many celebs have popularized in recent years, and a few weeks back, Sonja decided to give it a shot.
However, things didn’t go as planned that day. She began experiencing rapid breathing and light-headedness after the IV therapy. Concerned for her health, her family, including her son Ray J, decided to call an ambulance for assistance.
She was taken to the hospital, and thankfully, she eventually recovered. The IV treatment she received consisted of a combination of C and B vitamins, along with calcium and magnesium. Its purpose is to strengthen a person’s immune system. Nevertheless, there are potential side effects, including infection, rashes, blood clots, and air embolism, to name a few. So, while IV therapy can be beneficial, it’s essential to be aware of the potential risks. 🚑💉🏥
