Jonathan Majors’ text messages to his accuser, Grace Jabbari, were revealed in court, shedding light on a troubling incident in London six months prior to the ongoing trial.

In the September 2022 texts, Majors expressed concern about potential investigations, stating, “They will ask you questions, and as I don’t think you actually protect us, it could lead to investigation even if you do lie, and they suspect something.”

Grace replied, revealing her reluctance to disclose the truth, “I will tell the doctor I bumped my head if I go. I’m going to give it one more day, but I can’t sleep and I need some stronger pain killers. That’s all: why would I tell them what really happened when it’s clear I want to be with you.”

During her testimony, Grace struggled to read the texts, breaking down in tears.

The messages referred to an incident in London, with the judge allowing their inclusion in court as they describe “conduct that is inextricably interwoven with the charged acts,” even though specific details of the London incident were deemed inadmissible.

The texts also contained a disturbing section where Majors threatened suicide, stating, “Last night I considered killing myself versus coming home. I need love too. Or maybe I’m such a monster and a horrible man, I don’t deserve it. And I should just kill myself. In this way, my existence is miserable. I want to die.”

Jabbari, in response to his threats, expressed concern and asserted that she would have to “tell someone” if he continued making such statements.

Throughout the reading of the texts in court, Majors kept his head down, occasionally glancing at the jury when they were concluded.

The revelations added another layer of complexity to the ongoing trial. 📱💔
