Mary J. Blige Never Listened To Her Own Music Until Quarantine
Queen of hip-hop soul Mary J Blige appeared on The Ellen Show and recently shared with the talk show host that she did not listen to her own music until quarantine times.
She also speaks on being impressed at her own lyrics.
“I was listening to the ‘My Life’ album during the pandemic, and I was listening to ‘My Life,’ the song ‘My Life,’ and I was like, ‘Wow, how did I write those lyrics? How did I do that?'”
