Rapper Casanova Pleads Guilty to Federal Drug and Racketeering Charges

Since news of Young Thug and Gunna hit social media the theme of this week is rappers going to jail. Brooklyn rap star Casanova born Caswell Senior pled guilty on Wednesday to federal drug and racketeering charges.

Casanova turned himself into the FBI late 2020. Prosecutors claimed he’s leader of the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation Bloods gang that committed a series of crimes from New York City to Florida.

According to The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan, Casanova admitted to shooting in Florida that too place in July of 2020 a robbery in New York City that took place in August of 2018. He also admitted to trafficking more than 100 kilograms of marijuana.

Casanova is set to be sentenced December 2022. He’s facing a mandatory minimum of five years in prison and a maximum sentence of 60 years.
