Bodycam Footage Shows What Occurred On The Plane Moments Before Odell Beckham Jr. Was Escorted Off Flight In Miami

Odell Beckham Jr. was escorted off a flight from Miami to Los Angeles Thanksgiving weekend. Bodycam footage recently obtained by WPLG Local 10 surfaced. The footage showed what happened on the plane moment before he was escorted off the plane by authorities.

Beckham was awaken by authorities asking him questions like if he knew where he was etc. The officers seem to be satisfied with his responses but flight attendants demanded that he needed to leave.

All passengers was asked to get off the plane. A angry passenger said something to Beckham and he replied

“That shit don’t mean nothing to me. … You gonna wait 40 minutes and I’mma be on a private plane home.”

In a report from the Miami-Dade Police Department, Beckham appeared to be “coming in and out of consciousness” when the flight crew attempted to wake him to fasten his seat belt. OBJ was asked to leave out of concern that his condition would worsen over the course of the five-hour flight.  

Beckham’s attorney Daniel Davilier explained his client is accustomed to sleeping with a blanket over his head for long flights.

“He was [awakened] and told that the plane was back at the gate and that he needed to get off the plane because he did not put his seatbelt on when asked. He responded that he was asleep, and that he would put his seatbelt on at that time. He was informed that it was too late, and that either he would have to get off the plane or everyone would have to deplane.”
