Remi TV Nation is a professional development Non- Profit. This non-profit is in the form of media through community outreach and service projects, like social and cultural outings, personal and professional workshops and seminars. The corporation offers mentoring, tutoring, networking and so much more. Our critical focus as a team is bettering our community, providing equity and uplifting voices in the media.

The CEO Remi Jones has few projects that have gone into development. She is planning to provide a health and wellness summit for the Rhode Island Area, anti-gun violence programming, BIPOC focused media, a business expo that provides transparency between public servants and Rhode Island Entrepreneurs, and last but least, she intends to honor community leaders with a prestigious award show

Her television show called Remi TV is a hub for elite leaders of color who are breaking down barriers and impacting culture globally to connect, collaborate and create change. The Remi TV show became vastly popular and acquired syndication, debuting on TV-9 and the PEG network. Expanding in her notoriety Remi interviewed a plethora of celebrities throughout New York City ranging from Dame Dash, Joey Fatone, Wyclef Jean, Lil Mo, Remy Ma and DJ Kay Slay. The renowned talk show led her to solidify features in national outlets such as Forbes, Yahoo, Bossip, Sheen Magazine, Thrive Global, HipHop Weekly and on Hot 97.

How did you start your non-profit? I really care about my community and I wanted to see it grow especially for people of color. I worried about their mental health, physical health, the cost of living , business owner growth and just the overall well being for my city. I put on 3 major events, one in 2020, 2021, and another in 2022. I held a live talk show with a studio audience, a mental health expo and business expo . I didn’t have any knowledge on what non profits really do to be honest until someone told me that what I was doing was non profit work. After about 8 months of thinking about it and doing some research I decided to start my journey as a non-profit called Remi TV Nation and continue to do amazing events to uplift the under-served community.

What is your non-profits objective? Remi TV Nation is a professional development Non- Profit. This non-profit is in the form of media through community outreach and service projects, like social and cultural outings, personal and professional workshops and seminars. The corporation offers mentoring, tutoring, networking and so much more. Our critical focus as a team is bettering our community, providing equity and uplifting voices in the media.

Describe your greatest strengths in your non profit organization. The greatest strength of my non-profit will be collaborating with other non-profits.  I notice that everyone wants to be number one, or everyone wants to be the head hancho rather than working together to create something big and beautiful.

How important is it to make a difference? It is truly important to make a difference. It  makes me sad to see people struggling to get out of a hard place. It is important to help the homeless, single moms, people struggling to get out of an abusive relationship and more. We need to gather together to make a difference, because it takes a village.

What are your career ambitions? My career ambitions are to highlight individuals who are making a difference in their communities. I want to be able to uplift minority voices to be seen and heard  free of discrimination.
