Khloe Kardashian Gets ‘Slammed’ For ‘BlackFishing’ While Dressed As Bratz Doll For Halloween

Khloe Kardashian is back in the spotlight, facing allegations of blackfishing once again. On Halloween, she took to Instagram to share several photos of her dressing up as a Bratz doll, embracing the Halloween spirit.

Khloe’s costume featured a yellow minidress, a crystal-encrusted Bratz logo handbag, and a matching yellow beret, perfectly accessorized with a knee-length platinum blonde wig. However, what grabbed everyone’s attention wasn’t her outfit but her skin tone, which many of her followers found notably darker than usual.

Several Instagram users expressed their concerns, with one person questioning, “How is this not blackfishing?” Another suggested that Khloe seemed to be experimenting with what she’d look like with a darker complexion. Some couldn’t even recognize her, wondering if she was engaged in “blackface.”

For those unfamiliar with the term, “blackfishing” refers to the practice of white individuals using various means, such as filters, makeup, or excessive tanning, to give the impression of being Black for various personal and financial reasons.

It’s worth noting that Khloe’s not the only Kardashian-Jenner sister who has faced blackfishing accusations. Kylie Jenner, for instance, has been criticized for it in the past, particularly when she introduced her Bratz doll collection in August.

Despite the blackfishing allegations, Khloe continued to share more images on her Instagram, posing with her fellow Bratz dolls, including her sister Kim and friends Natalie Halcro and Olivia Pierson. 📸🧡🎃
